Chip returns to Hope Repertory Theatre for Summer 2023!

Yep, that's right!  You're not seeing things.  Hope Summer Repertory Theatre is now Hope Repertory Theatre #Itsnotjustforsummeranymore.  Hope Repertory Theatre is expanding it's schedule into the fall and also adding a previously used performance venue, The Park Theatre on River Avenue!

Chip will be returning to HRT for his 29th summer as a member of the acting company.  This summer he will be playing the villians!  Starting in June at Hope College's Dewitt Theatre he will be portraying The Man In The Yellow Suit in a musical for the whole family, Tuck Everlasting.

• 7:30 PM - June 17, 22, 27, 28.  July 1, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 14:  Summer 2023

Later in the summer, and not in repertory, Chip will once again play the antagonist as Hertz Klinemann in the last musical of Hope Rep's season, Rock Of Ages!  Rock of Ages is a musical built around classic rock songs from the 1980, especially from the metal bands, such as Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi and WhiteSnake.  It'll be off campus at Holland, Michigan's Park Theatre on River Avenue and contains strong adult content.  Should be a fun time!
